Just thought you might like to see the results. There is so much in the book with turning the blocks in different configurations and use of color. This one is really only a baby size quilt. Line it with a napkin and fill it to the brim with your favorite biscuits. Use on your desk for mail, store patterns or hold tissue boxes.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;MATERIALS: &lt;br/&gt;PATTERN REQUIRED: Biscuit Basket by Aunties Two Patterns&lt;br/&gt;FABRIC:&lt;br/&gt;Fifteen 2 1⁄2” strips cut the width of the fabric generally 42” – 44”. Use 14 strips for the basket and one strip for the binding.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Consider using these combinations:&lt;br/&gt;One Fabric:     1 1⁄4 yards or Fifteen 2 1⁄2” strips&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Two Fabrics:     Eight 2 1⁄2” strips to weave vertically; Six 2 1⁄2” strips to weave horizontally; One binding strip &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Three Fabrics:    Two sets of Four 2 1⁄2” strips to weave vertically;	Six 2 1⁄2” strips to weave horizontally; One binding strip &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Scrappy Look:    Fifteen strips from any Hoffman Bali PopTM or jelly roll&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;STIFF INTERFACING: 1 yard of Craf-tex (#337) by Bosal Foam (Timtex or Peltex will work but it is much less stiff) &lt;br/&gt;NOTE: 10 yard rolls of pre-cut 1 3⁄4” wide Craf-tex will be available for sale in class ($12.00 per roll)&lt;br/&gt;    Cut this very stiff interfacing into 1 3⁄4” strips: &lt;br/&gt;        Three 32” x 1 3⁄4” for weaving around the basket &lt;br/&gt;        Three 22” x 1 3⁄4” for sides and bottom &lt;br/&gt;        Five 18” x 1 3⁄4” for front, back and bottom&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;OTHER HANDY TOOLS &lt;br/&gt;Small Design Board and Pins: Try an empty cardboard fabric bolt or, if you can find it, 1⁄2” foam core board works great &lt;br/&gt;Matching Cotton Thread:	 will show in a few places &lt;br/&gt;Embellishments:&lt;br/&gt;Grosgrain ribbon (1 1⁄2 yards) for the bow. Or be creative and use whatever you like. &lt;br/&gt;Standard Sewing Tools: &lt;br/&gt;Sewing Machine (a free arm is helpful), scissors (both large and small), pins, rotary mat and cutter, acrylic rulers, Dritz Quick Turn or a chopstick, seam ripper, measuring tape, iron and ironing pad (unless provided).</description>
